Bakshi in Korea

While in Seoul’s Kyobo Bookstore yesterday, I was pretty surprised to come across my favorite book of the year — Jon Gibson’s Unfiltered: The Complete Ralph Bakshi — so I snapped a quick picture. Make sure you check it out if you’re anything of a Bakshi fan.
Also, if you’re ever in Seoul, don’t miss a chance to swing by Kyobo, which is located directly under this intersection, one of the busiest in the city. Lots of stuff underground in Korea!

Horizontal stop lights and underground bookstores, it’s the future!

When you’re inside it (or any other underground facility in Seoul) you totally forget that the massive weight of countless vehicles, not to mention the road itself, is constantly waiting to collapse on top of you. But I don’t think it’s ever happened, so all is well!

that’s pretty cool. It seems like such an obvious idea but I an’t think of many places that do mouch underground besides paring garages. If I ever get over to SK like I’d like to I’ll have to check it out.
